"30kg of Clothing" is one of my most personal projects, capturing a single day at a Milwaukee flea market during a three-month internship. Despite being in an unfamiliar place, a newfound group of friends transformed what could have been an isolating experience into something deeply meaningful. Their presence turned fleeting moments into lasting memories, making a foreign space feel like home.
The series reflects the market’s essence—racks of vintage clothing, sun-drenched scenes, and the vibrant personalities that filled the space. Amid the bustling atmosphere, there’s an undercurrent of human connection—conversations, laughter, and moments of stillness. More than just a collection of photographs, 30kg of Clothing preserves the spontaneity and warmth of that day, turning a brief encounter into something unforgettable.
