"LOT 11" is a photographic series inspired by Miami’s iconic Lot 11 skatepark, a place that's become a cultural hub for skaters. Through black-and-white images, I experimented with sharpness, blur, and intense contrasts to capture skateboarding as something beyond tricks and technique, revealing it instead as a rhythmic, almost dance-like expression of individuality and style.
By shifting between clear moments and abstracted movement, I wanted to highlight both the skill and the poetic spontaneity of skating. This series is my tribute to skate culture in Miami, celebrating Lot 11 not just as a skatepark, but as a creative space full of dynamic energy, community, and artistic freedom.
