"Azul" is a photographic series marking my return to color photography after years of working exclusively in black and white. The project's main focus is the exploration and documentation of the color blue, examining its numerous variations and subtleties within everyday scenes. This intentional shift required me to recondition my vision and actively engage with color in a deliberate and detailed manner.
The series highlights blue not merely as a color but as a tangible and expressive element that shapes perception, mood, and composition. By capturing diverse shades, textures, and interactions with light, "Azul" provides a fresh perspective on a familiar yet often overlooked aspect of visual experience, encouraging viewers to rediscover the beauty found within the ordinary.
